The Guide to
Shooting Film
I created the course because I know so many people who want to get into film but don't know where to start. So I want to give you the tools necessary to start creating photos that will still be meaningful in five-ten PLUS years. Digital photos can only go so far but the photos that I've taken over the last five and a half years of shooting film are still so incredibly important to me. Especially as travel this summer will start to open up, it's a perfect opportunity to begin learning the art of film photography!
Choosing a Film Camera
There are soooo many vintage film cameras in the world right now in perfect working condition but not being used. We're going to be going over where to buy your first or next film camera, deciding between point and shoot cameras and SLRs, and how to use your camera!
Shooting 35mm Film
Learn all that you need to know when it comes to 35mm film. We'll be going over everything from where to buy film, which film to choose, how to load film into your camera, and how to get it developed and scanned by a local lab!
Developing & Scanning
your Film
After you shoot your first roll it's time to get your film developed and scanned. I take you through the steps of how to find a lab for developing. I also guide you on how to fill out a photo lab form when you go to drop off or send out your film.
About the Course
The Guide to Shooting Film takes you through every aspect of film photography. Whether you're an avid photographer or you have never picked up a camera in your life, this course is for you!
We will cover all the basics of film photography including where to buy film cameras, what film to buy, and where to develop your film. We will also cover topics that will allow you to continue to grow in your film photography, such as shooting manual, different effects you can create with your camera and as a bonus how to develop/ scan your film at home AND how to shoot beautiful super 8 films!
Every aspect of the course is to guide you in making film a very simple, & enjoyable process that will TRANSFORM how you will FOREVER capture your favorite memories and events.

Learn how to save lot's of money by developing your own film at home. We will go through all necessary tools for developing and where to buy it! Then we will look at how to scan your film negatives at home!

I will teach you where to buy/rent a working super 8 camera, where to buy the film and get it developed and scanned!
